Making Modernism for Heide Museum of Modern Art
The project
Third Drawer Down Studio were so pleased to be asked to create a collection for Heide Museum's much talked about and heavily praised, Making Modernism exhibition. Making Modernism brought together for the first time the iconic art of Georgia O'Keeffe, one of America's most significant painters of the twentieth century, alongside modernist masterpieces by pioneering Australian artists, Margaret Preston and Grace Cossington Smith. The collection was designed to highlight several still life works, and the artists alternative ways of seeing the world.
