Nari Ward for Pérez Art Museum
The project
In the fall of 2015 Pérez Art Museum Miami presented Sun Splashed, the largest survey of artworks to date from Jamaican born, New York based artist Nari Ward. Third Drawer Down Studio were thrilled to work with the museum on a limited edition collection of pieces, numbered especially for the exhibition.

The museum
Pérez Art Museum Miami exists to improve the quality of life for individual residents of and visitors to Miami-Dade County, as well as social life in the communities they represent, by facilitating catalytic engagements with the most progressive visual arts of our time. Exhibitions highlight Miami’s diverse community and pivotal geographic location at the crossroads of the Americas. In addition to exploring the galleries, visitors can: enjoy waterfront dining at Verde restaurant; shop a unique selection of art books, furnishings and handmade items at the museum’s gift store; and take in the spectacular views of Biscayne Bay and the elaborate hanging gardens. Designed by Pritzker Prize winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, PAMM provides an educational and civic forum for the County’s residents and visitors alike.
