The brief
October 2015 saw Dallas go POP and Third Drawer Down Studio design an exclusive range of products from key artists and influencers, as well as arranging all licensing. We loved the brief to design products championing artworks from leading pop artists, and celebrating the global emergence of Pop in the 1960's and 1970s.
The artist
Evelyne Axell was a Belgian Pop painter. She is best known for her psychedelic, erotic paintings of female nudes and self-portraits on plexiglas that blend the hedonistic and Pop impulses of the 1960s. her woman licking ice cream which featured on this tote was actually banned on facebook when posted in 2015, much to everyone's protest!
